33 years of ridiculous life experience and a father that didn’t believe in hiring anyone to do anything for him gave me the opportunity to learn a bunch of random things and perform them all at a mediocre level, these are documents of the random things that happen in my non-stop day to day life.

I was trying to use this to learn alternate picking but watched Matt Heafy play it and it’s all down picked. Not perfect, but I’m new and it’s pushing me to learn more!

I’m new to guitar - less than 6 months in. Thoroughly convinced these guitars and amps are best bang for your beginniner buck to just jam and have fun. Paid for with my OWN BLUE COLLAR MONEY - and thoroughly satisfied!
Weld Repair - Bead placement and interpass prep!
Переглядів 1028 місяців тому
Just yapping about welding on my 1960 Fordson Power Major Ford Backhoe frame. Quality is king that’s why I use Harbor Freight Titanium welders! I’m kidding. This was a “quick and dirty” repair - doesn’t mean we want to deposit garbage. Talking about my experiences with welding and kind of how-to on running these small vertical welds, bead placement, weaving welding uphill, surface prep for qual...

what motor is this?
My goodness the amount of torque that thing has😳
LS3?
L92 w/ Texas speed stage 2 cam. Basically, for half the price lol.
А что за гитара у вас? Что за модель и какая фирма?
that’s fucking awesome
1 handed is crazy, imagine losing traction
It does in 3rd, but very very setup suspension it’s very controllable if it happens!
you're not driving a car, you're driving an engine brother
I love this hahahaha
Lets go my guy! Awesome
dont let anyone stop you from practising
shit
Cool mate black guitar
Amazing, keep going
Whenever I made my old guitar medleys on UA-cam back from 2008 to 2010 (mikedariddla859) I always placed my camera on top of my Amp and gave myself distance with my Amp at the right volume. That way you're hearing the sound from your Amp and not the strings from your guitar. Nice video though.
Thanks! Honestly I just had the amp turned down because the kids were in bed, I should just record straight to my computer and not worry about it!
"Animal I have become"
What was the dark patch ripple in the cloud
Grateful song
Nice kill shot
How much it cost to do that
Depends… you can do it cheap cheap but cheap and reliable don’t go hand in hand. I want to say I was $7000 total into it including buying the trans and some other upgrades and not just dropping a stock motor and trans with a half smoked clutch in. That was a full engine rebuild, cam kit, used t56, clutch, shifter and bushing, motor and trans mounts, HPTuners, full exhaust, oil pump and cooler and lines, radiator, other odds and ends.
Jason Voorhees is that you? 💀
Still got it ?
Sure do! It’s got a 6.2 and overfenders and an FDF angle kit with feal coilovers on it now hahaha
My bow used to by on my wall in my bedroom. Then I got married.
My thought was “she knows who and what she married, maybe she’ll be less mad in the bedroom than in the entryway” hahaha
Just remind her how much a replacement would cost if it got damaged in the garage 😉
I’m not sure she knows how much it cost originally… probably for the better
Shadow doesn’t even match
Wut
Should have bought a miller…. jk I just got one of these for free from a family member have only made a couple small welds with it but seems decent for what it is, it’s nothing like my miller 252 and the .045 dual shield I usually use but it’s a lot easier to pull it out then the heavy miller 🤣
Yes!! I run an AHP AlphaTIG 200 and this. Works great for anything at home. I can always crank up the amps and run stick if I have to but this thing works wonders. Use Lincoln S500s and 275/375 tig machines at work, no dual shield tho.
I feel like you own a jeep
This is my e36, my wife has a Grand Cherokee and I have an XJ out in my woods somewhere 🤣
'Promo sm' 💃
how do you like the 6.5s ?
Love them! I might try fmjs next time I need to buy arrows but these definitely haven’t done me wrong and I practice out to 100
Ghost car
LMAO yeah that little boy can’t handle that 6.2 power 😂
It’s done so well for so long!! Time to upgrade!
Sweet.
LOVEEEEEE ITTTTT
This is adorable, he's going ham!
What size angle iron ? Heat and wire settings?
.25” thick. I think this was running around 200ipm at ~19v. Can’t remember. It’s MIG, turn the knobs til it penetrates and runs good lol
N62?
no. its american engine
LR4 4.8L “LS” from a Chevy truck. Cars got a 6.2 LS motor in it now lol
Finally someone who bought the machine and can weld thank you! Nice bead
Sounded crisp sounded hot looks like good penetration as well.
Lamb of God common W
This idle ... I gotta change my pants
very nice swap! i own a E36 myself, it is a 328i Coupé. i guess the ls1 is from a corvette? the only V8 E36´s i´ve seen here in germany are the alpina B8 but they are very rare.
It’s a 325is coupe! And the motor in this video was a 4.8 truck motor. It’s since been replaced with a 6.2 liter making much more power and much cooler noises
Someone needs a camera mount
OR A CAMERA MAN HINT HINT
@@bulletholez I know a guy!
Thanks ! Wanted to see and I saw..now gonna get one too!
So what you’re saying is the harbor freight special ain’t so bad.
Pretty much! Penetrates well and dials in easily and runs smooth, even has a pre-flow built in which was a nice surprise!
Your draw is dope
Hahaha thanks I think! Just do it like this so it’s easier on my already destroyed rotator cuffs
Drive by shooting 🤣😅😂
No one is safe 🤣
Это что???
Half flat not vertical, no gloves and too hot. A veteran I see.
Never said I was, figured the harbor freight 140a 120v welder sitting on a driveway welding dirty angle iron would have given that away.
I’d like your expert input on how it was too hot, considering there was no blow through but good visible penetration, no undercut which means I had good angle and plenty of wire feed/travel speed since my bead came out flat and not concave? I’m always open to learn I’m just not sure where I went wrong.
@@bulletholez text book weld lol really good penetration without getting it all red hot haha
Run hot move fast maximize penetration while minimizing heat input to reduce base material distortion!
@@bulletholez you can also run colder and move slower, it’s up to personal preference but I do like to run a bit hot
looks like good money bro!
Not too shabby for a fitter! Hahaha
That would really hurt
Ig I would spin around to make a difference
Wow bare hand welding? Absolutely no safety concerns at all
I run long sleeves with tillman gloves, friend wanted a video on how the machine ran so I sent a bead for him real quick and this was the result. I don’t suggest my safety ignorance to anyone!
Lol if you’re worried about getting burnt while welding you’re probably not a welder
Safety Sally here
